I only managed to spring-clean my wardrobe and dolled up my favourite corner of the room - bed in preparation for cny.

Besides the anticipation for angbaos, I always look forward to spending an awesome time with my relatives esp my cousins during CNY. Like this yr, we spent 3-4 hours playing monopoly deal, cluedo and scrabble. We actually missed out the all-time-favourite mahjong! Awww~

Anw we didn't know scrabble is so brain draining so we only had one try =x
despite the fact that its the most expensive game out of the 3.

Oh ya and surprisingly, rosanne actually chope me as her "sister" for her future wedding and she told me one can only have 3 tries as a sister ( is that true?). My 1st time was for wen's wedding so anybody wants to chope me for the last? heh~

JB Sentral - City Square Mall

Our stomachs are already grumbling once we reached jb sentral.
So we just popped by the 1st cafe that came into sight - Old town white coffee!
I can assure you its only half the price of Singapore's. So worth it!! One ipoh hor fun and white coffee hazelnut costs ard 5 bucks! *Aww satisfied*

It was followed by hours and hours of shopping~ I bought this cute necklace from vincci in the departmental store...Their accessories ae quite nice...even their wallets!! and kl bought one bright orange one for herself~

After hrs of continuous walking, we finally settled dwn at HK Kim gary for dinner and we realized their set meal cums with a complimentary dessert! Do we have this in Singpaore? not very sure. It was almond pudding with red bean paste (pic below)

EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER...!!!
I think i end the earliest among my nus mates =x

Well this is indeed a tough sem, lvl 4000 mod is so challenging!
but this is also one of the more memorable sem~

1) I wrote 7.5 k words within 1-2 weeks (the many sleepless nights)
2a) I acted as a sex addict for my "addictive behavior" class presentation (my clique kip laughing at me after seeing the videos!)
2b) We also filmed a "sex in the city parody" right inside paragon..thought it was pretty fun too~
3) I'm learning to work independently (cos of thesis) with my supervisor who happens to be a rather nice Hong Kong professor.

Unforgettable korean bbq buffet dinner that made me smelly n oily.
Oh did I mention that I have really straight intestines? Cos I visited the toilet right after stuffing tonnes of delicious marinated pork n chicken into my stomach.

Right now, 3 of these are still swimming in my stomach!
I always love dai tai feng's xiaolong bao (: And I found a new love too - 脆腐皮虾饼! thanks to ky for the recommendation.

BKK Trip Part 2

Some touristy spots within the hotel for photo-taking session...

In fact, Day 2 and 3 was spent shopping as well so nth much to talk about that. During our last night, we made our way to the famous observatory tower at the 83th storey of Baiyoke Sky hotel. We queued quite awhile to go up there~ well no privilege for in-house guests

Not to scare you with my photo but there was literally no lights on top except for those LED lightings on the hotel's wall (pic below)

it's a open air, 360 degree revolving tower! and imagine with the aid of these lightings..it creates such a romantic ambiance. We stationed ourselves at one spot and round and round we go ~ COOL!

We tried to take group photo [ I crop ps and thus sh away cos ps demanded me to crop her face off =x ) but the wind was too strong and the revolving speed was simply too fast, hence most photos turned out blurry~so we resort to taking photos for one another (for better control)

ps and ah hui! I think this is the best photo in terms of lighting and sharpness. And of cos the pretty faces heh! =)

Im gg to end this post with pictures of my loots (except for accessories cos i left them out). Really not much as compared to others who went bkk to shop. Most pouches were for gifts though.

Initially i was so sad that most shops don't carry shoe size 34 or 35. Luckily we spotted some @ plat mall (zone 3) selling size 35! i just have to try those with smaller cutting (for size 35) since i wear charles n keith size 34~ Pretty restrictive i would say. But still i bought as many pairs of shoes as the gals. Haha! (:

I really enjoyed myself (since i painstakingly earned every single cent of my trip expenses) and thks gals for taking care of me! Bkk, i'll be back~

BKK trip Jul/Aug 2011

Finally we managed to set off to bkk, the well-known shopping haven!!
Din manage to catch enough sleep the night before our flight due to all the last minute packing and dinner appt with frens.

We stayed @ the highly-raved Baiyoke Sky Hotel for this 3D2N trip.
Hotel rooms were pretty decent with nice skyview of bkk landscape since ours is on the 46th floor (:

I guessed the best selling point of this hotel would be its height. It is supposedly the tallest tower in bkk. Every morning, we will have our breakfast buffet @ the 78th floor (: Besides the awesome view, food was delectable as well! We are simply spoilt for choices: western, japanese, indian and chinese cuisine!

Generally customer service was good except that some of the staffs are overly helpful. There was one male hotel staff who offered to carry our shopping bags. He took the stuffs right into our rooms and dilly dally as if he's expecting some tips from us. He chatted abit and walked ard to switch on ALL the lights in our room before we 'chased' him away -_-"

Day 1: Platinum Mall Zone 1 & 2

This mall is crazily big (20 - 30 times of far east plaza) and filled with shops selling mainly apparels and accessories. We only managed to comb zone 1 & 2 ( within the same building) from 12+pm to 7pm. I strongly recommend having lunch at their food court cos eth seems so delicious and affordable.

Sharks' fin soup (taste almost like authentic ones)

Shrimp Pad Thai (yummy to the max)

Oyster omelette (worth a try! very crispy)

As for dinner, we packed bento sets from Fuji Restaurant back to the hotel! Look at the amount of food but it only cost less than 10SGD! Faints!! And its awfully nice! Sh and ps kip stuffing me with food cos they think im too thin. They saw my weight when we were playing with the hotel bathroom weighing scale. All of a sudden, my weight plunge to 39+kg when it was supposedly 42-43kg one year back.

Matching havaianas flip flop and sports bag! and I'm ready for SWIMMING!!!

My swimming costume and goggles need to be changed --Former being a lil big and latter being too old and badly scratched.

Well...it has been 4 years before i plucked the courage to swim again.

But i guess this is still where i belong. As i plunged into the water and swam a few laps, I felt so uplifted (dunno for wad!) And thanks to sy for being my ONLY swimming kaki (: Friends ard me don't like to swim, i guess. So once sy leaves this thurs (aww...so sad!), I'll have to go on my own.

JOB has been okay so far. Once you are at the frontline, you get to interact with all sorts of people. Some really nice and appreciative customers or some really irritable and nasty ones. Well, i've learnt to accept the fact that we cannot satisfy everyone! Just yesterday, two ladies complimented me on my service..but that was right after i kenna 'scolded' by one weird lady. Lol.

Though working keeps me busy but my feet are always sore when i removed my heels. And the strain of my culf muscles too! Colleagues are rather nice -- 3 filipino people, 1 malaysian and 2 singaporeans. One of the filipino likes to molest me (once is my leg another time is my butt) lol. Retail is definitely not my cup of tea but well i guess i shocked many and proved to my mum that im not as xiaojie as she thinks.

Now my KL trip...

I didn't have the stamina to blog both the wedding post and KL trip when i reached Sgp on thurs night. So I'll continue with my short oversea getaway now (:

The six of us (mum, 3 aunts, my cousin and I) travelled on coach from LE Woodlands -- Tuas checkpoint-- Secondlink @ Malaysia -- KL -- Putrajaya Marriot Hotel

Before we reached the hotel, we stopped over at Yong Peng to have our lunch. I tried the nasi lemak sold by the local ppl. Looks nice and the chilli was awesome!

Besides the regular sermon timings (one in the morning and one at night), we have the luxury of time for R & R and that includes 4-hr shopping at Mid Valley and random phototaking along the way!

Basically nth much on my KL trip cos its more of a spiritual revival trip rather than those shop-till-i-drop kind of trip. I bought one mustard sling bag for RM48 and that's my only loot! Lol. Oh well, i love getaway like this. I feel so good inside!

Finally it's the day!

Not many pictures taken cos we had to keep up with our time-tight schedule.

It was raining so heavily that morning and serene (cheong) was caught in a jam. Knowing that she didn't recog the way..i waited for her near the provision shop @ the void deck. It was already 7.40am by the time we met up.

Being ten mins late due to the rainy weather cum jam cum wrong meeting lift area, we both had our fair share of "sarcastic remark" from XXX.
Seriously, the tone was a lil too 'heavy' for me~ But well, its over le la (:
shdn't let this kinda of nitty gritty things affect my mood for wen's big day~

Overall, I'm very thankful to the gals who were there to liven up the atmosphere cos im not those ra-ra ones so I can only contribute SILENTLY. Lol. But they were really a bunch of fun-loving gals to be with! Wang even invited us to the salon nearby to style our hair when the morning session has ended.

Before and after, eeyer straight hair like nicer eh. waste my 20 bucks!

honestly speaking, I was once fearful that you left me. I know I shouldn't be feeling this way..perhaps I was too overwhelmed with the disappointment from all the internship applications. Especially when I tried everything I can...I guess the time wasn't right for me given that I have committed the whole of next week for church camp.

I was really depressed...and thought I was such a useless person on earth.

Ahma's 大寿 at Sakae International Buffet

This is the consecutive 3rd year we are dinning here.
To be frank, the standard has dropped tremendously, when the food is already not great to begin with. So nth much to comment, just some random photos to spice up my boring blog.

Oh and its not cheap, ard 30 bucks per pax.
And I just learnt that quite a no.of us experienced diarrhea that very night.
That's really bad.

Prior to our dinner, we had a mini celebration over at my grandma's hse..
Yepps that's granny! And she's posing with the bouquet of flowers my bro and I bought for her.

Anw dun think this plain-looking cake is just another bdae cake sold at some neighbourhood bakery. It costs 100 bucks eh!! The reason being the big chunk of ultimate durian used . And yes, its very yummie. Can u imagine that! almost 50% of this cake is durian paste!!! Awww...sinful sinful.

And straight after such a heavy dinner, I went to Neverland for wen's hens night. To be frank, I always avoid places like these becos simply I can't drink, can't dance and doesn't like loud music. But thank God i survived. Just that my heels are kinda spoiled after that, huge piece of the exterior surface peeled off after someone stepped on my feet. And there's like 3 big grey marks too. Boohoo!

BODY MASSAGE @ SECRET SENSATIONS

Beautiful website they have but after my 1st attempt at their body massage,
brother and I didn't sign up their package.

I think it was a good experience for me on the whole. Haven't had any prior body treatment whatsoever hence making a trip down straight after my last mid-term (tues) seems like a good decision afterall. I talk with that lady throughout the whole session to avoid any moments of awkwardness. Ha~

This is the room for the body massage, which was pretty small. Realized the muscles at my thigh and neck was extremely strained, which explains the pain I felt when the lady exert force on them . It must have been the long hours of studying and walking everyday...and not forgetting the lack of exercise -_-"

It's really time to make the commitment to exercise.

Finally we had our 1st xmas party cum stay-over @ my place.

After I ended my ppr on tues, I've been rotting at home & doing some random stuff.
3 months back, mum brought home a christmas tree so i took this chance to build it!

Still got tonnes of things yet to be revised...TERRIBLE.

I tried coffee, tea, chicken essence, snacks, almost everything bt nth seems to work. The moment i hit 3 to 4am, i'll just zonk out. Is that a sign of ageing??

Finally we managed to get out of the Srgn District and venture into Bugis area for dinner dates!! This is like once-in-a-lifetime catch-up with the gals since we all had very bz work/study schedule..Happy to the max!!! (:

While waiting for the food to be served, Wen kept snapping random shots of us! Lolx. There were even many "glutton" shots of me in her camera & iphone! Super unglam can!!! Me---> Glutton!! NOOO!!!!! Haha..so i conclude that Wen likes me! Joking la!

Suyee is saved from all the bombardment cos im always the 'comical' one in the grp!

Ordered the pesto chicken that amanda & peishan ate last time. Its really juicy and succulent! Yummie!!! but there's no more wedges to go with it. H/w u can choose to top it up with free flow of salad for additional $5 charge.

We were supposedly posing a "i wanna eat the ice cream up" shot but ended up looking as if we're blowing candles..FAILED ATTEMPT but looks funnie thou!

SPENDING MY 22ND @ GREEN ROOM CAFE!!!!

One glance at these yummy pictures, can you tell that they are all vegetarian food?? Isn't it amazing? Awww~ besides their food, I'm also in love with the nature-feel of this dining place (:

You won't hear people yakking in the background cos there's not many seats inside.( I Like!) But I have to agree that its quite ulu..In fact, we were supposed to settle in by 7pm but ended up eating only bｙ 8pm cos most of us got lost in the middle of bishan park!! Haha. Though the overall celebration was pretty short but I enjoyed every moment of it. The gals never fail to make me feel touched~

After the dinner, I met up with ct and yx for a short while. They actually initiate an impromptu meet-up(all the way till 3am) on my bdae despite having morning lessons the next day. Sometimes its just this lil gesture that make me feel treasured as a friend of theirs (:

B'DAE CELEBRATION @ CLARKE QUAY

A little hiccup @ home but thank God, we made it to the celebration tonight (:
I think this is the 1st time my cousin and I are celebrating our bades together (hers falls on the 4th and mine on the 5th). Chessa chose pasta de waraku among all the restaurants that I recommended...so here we are~

SEE! She's looking satisfied with the food & ice-cream (: Anw the bill round up to around 110 bucks but everything's FREE!! cos there's this magic thing called vouchers!! All sponsored by FEO!

While my mum and I was on bus 156, on our way home from grandma's hse, one young couple boarded and sat right in front of us. Immediately, the pair of extremely short denim hot pants caught my eyes @.@ Upon settling their butts on the seats, they began PDA-ing.

AND THINGS GOT WORSE...

That guy started removing the height markers pasted on the wall and sticking them onto the the poster(pic shown abv w/o the doodle) next to it. And he was giggling with his gf while slapping those stickers onto the uncle's and student's faces. Before i knew it, the guy took out a marker from his bag and started doodling everywhere...

He even colored the teeth of the uncle!!!!

I promised I stared REAL HARD & FIERCE AT HIM.
(cos he's not those beng-ish type plus I'm alrdy in a very bad mood)
I'm glad he noticed my unfriendly stare
but turned to stare bk at me!! %^&&^^*&*

This staring to and fro lasted for merely 5 secs...

TEMPORARY BIG CURLS!

Accompanied my aunt to the salon for a hair trim...Then the hairstylist recommended me to perm my hair cos i was complaining about the angular jawline of mine--- square face. She says the curls could kind of soften the edges....

So while she's doing the trimming.....

“你头发好多啊！” (meanwhile she kept on snipping)
“不过，我剪得很爽！” (she was beaming with smiles)

What a cute auntie..and she really cut alot alot of my hair (not length but thickness) !!! Right after cutting, she initiated to do a temporary perm (lasted for 1/2 day) for me and that's where my curls came from (: Anw i still prefer the straight hair look..im not used to curling.

Vansh Restaurant @ Stadium Waterfront

"authentically indian, excitingly modern"
--Vansh restaurant definitely live up to its slogan.

This semi-fine dining restaurant had one of the greatest ambiance and interior design. The moment i stepped in, I was captivated by the vibrant colours of the sofa set and the warm lightings. Because of the sofa's unique design, we gals have to literally climb into it! What's more, the staff had to bend/kneel down on this white panel beside the red sofa set when serving our food. And if you are seated near the windows (we are) , you may have a good view of the stadium waterfront but you may have to bear with some random creepy crawlies that kip intruding into the dining area~ lolx..might be that we're too close to the entrance.

As for the cusine itself, every dish that we ordered were filled with the fragrance of Indian spices!! Something as simple as the plain naan ( pic below) tastes great~ And it really goes well with the "curries" that we ordered. Though the serving size looks small but we gals swear that its stomach-filling! (:

After our heavy dinner, we had a brisk walk along the bridge-- A great place for couples to have a lil' chit chat or smth before heading home. Aww when im uploading this, the pic reminds me of Tamshui fisherman's wharf

Today was indeed a good night-out with the gals (wished sh were with us, get well soon!), especially when I have been cooped up @ home for the past few days due to the rashes! Friday was the hardest to get by cos mum had company dinner and was hm by ard 12plus and I, being the 'sick' person', have to prepare my own dinner =( Look wad i came out with my fav maggie 出前一丁! Lol! This is wad happens when one get really bored @ hm.

The 1st time i initiated cooking was to bake cookies for someone I like back then.

REASON: To show appreciation

The 2nd time was to bake cookies (AGAIN!) for my OCBC colleagues when I left the company.
REASON: Save $ for the upcoming Taiwan trip cos cookies are cheap!

I believed today was the 3rd time. (excluding some minor episodes, Yes. I know I'm a spoilt brat cos Mummy has always been the one preparing our meals.)
REASON: Home visit by second aunt and I wanna make her feel greatly welcomed & loved~

My second aunt has been battling with schizophrenia for over 20 years. What exactly triggered the onset was a traumatic experience she had during her last employment. Ever since then, she always coop herself up at home. During occasions when we brought her out, her bizarre behavior has inevitably invited a lot of stares. Currently, she's still receiving psychiatric treatment from IMH and her condition has more or less stabilized (:

Having stayed home for so long, her visit today was indeed RARE. So Mum and I decided to pan-fry french toast and pancakes for her as well as everyone. In the mist of makan-ing, I tried to strike up a conversation with aunt using my limited teochew/hokkien vocabularies. Thankfully, she understands my broken dialect!

And here's the hot pancakes! Anw, I realized there's no honey to go along with the pancakes and we had to make do with the raspberry jam and bananas. Surprisingly, the combination turned out really nice~ yummy! Chessa (my cousin) even ate 5 of them at one go!!

Awww what a warm and cosy family gathering we had today~

PRIVACY AT LAST!!

If you have dropped by my house, you would have noticed that my bedroom door is transparent. Though i like the idea of the blue glass panel on my door but its causing too much inconvenience.

1. I'll have to hide behind my wardrobe's door in order to change
2. I don't like the idea of showcasing my ugly 睡相
3. Sometimes I need to be alone, w/o supervision
4. Friends have been commenting abt this 'no privacy' issue.

So I tried to DIY the glass panels by pasting it with decorative window films bought from daiso. Here's a pic of one small portion of it. Since i've got nth much to do, I decided to do up the rest~

Here's the final product! How is it?? In fact i like the lil' christmas tree prints on the window films. And when light shines through, the effect is quite pretty! But cos im an amateur in doing home deco, there's lots of water bubbles trapped btw the glass and the films =( So on a closer look, It might not as pretty as it seems to be...

But well, at least I gained some privacy right??
Might consider getting those real window films ( I mean not those cheapo ones) when i get sicked of the current one. Woohoo~ no more hiding behind the wardrobe!!! No more worries about exposing what deemed to be "undesirable" when i sleep! No more peeping!!!

Oh yes!! IM FREE! (:

And soon..im gg to spring clean my bedroom, probably starting this friday (:

PART I: Finally a DECENT LUNCH

The chicken cutlets are tender and juicy!! Salad's sauce is not bad too (: But I wish there's more seasoning on the rice.

All time favourite bacon and cheese omelette ($6.80) :
This dish never fails to wet my appetite!!! I like the smooth texture of the omelette as well as the the combination of mayonnaise, bacon and cheese. PURRRFECT!!!

I dunno the name for this but its like macha + ice cream
Very soothing and macha really blends well with the vanilla ice cream! (:

Oh! Don't be mistaken, this is not my lunch! Just that I bought this nutrition supplement when we shopped ard after lunch. It's meant as a birthday present for my mum. Evening Primrose Oil and Vit E(powerful antioxidant) -- sounds like a pretty good combi (:

I just caught this movie today with the gals @ plaza sing.
No wonder GV gave it such a high rating --cos all the fighting scenes made me so tense up! No time to get bored!!! Most importantly, the ending was SHIOK!! We audience (majority i mean) applauded when Donnie Yen won the final match..Whee! Chinese Hero!!!

After the show ended, we headed down to mac for some catch-up before amanda had to leave for her family dinner. On our way to the MRT, the stupid buckle from my bag flew out when someone brushed past me! So lousy la!! But thanks to my besties for helping me to retrieve the metal rod, i managed to fix it back (:

The preparation for stats these few days reminded me of the math lessons I had in JC...

Back then, I always wait till the eleventh hr to do my tutorials.

And because I was not math-inclined, my grades suffered BADLY.

I really hate myself for being LAZY...

Now that i have learnt my lesson,

I make it a point to practice the computations whenever i can

And I really get that sense of satisfaction if I produce exactly the same anova summary table as prof yap's ans sheet. And true enough, all these help to boost my confidence by a tweeny bit (:

BUT BUT BUT....

the moment i saw the stats ppr today, I almost fainted.

All is SPSS output la!!! Moreover no computation at all!

Basically, it is testing more on concepts and interpreting SPSS output.

Gosh! Worse still, there's this stupid three-way anova =(

EXTREMELY CHALLENGING~

Alright, this is going to be last time im grumbling about this.

Cos i have got 3 more papers to go. So must stay optimistic!!

Everyone seems to be gg overseas , be it for Summer programme/ holidays, and im so envious!!! Actually, I don't mind travelling to somewhere near the region, just a few days also can...but zero planning at the moment. HA!!

This week has been mad busy!!

-studying stats2 test (over 10 chapters),

-read 8 articles to prepare for PL3234 presentation.

-and writing a 1000-word social work reflection paper

FINALLY ITS CUMIN TO AN END...

H/w today's stats test was a disappointment, I cldnt finish the whole ppr.

I only fill up less than half of the ANOVA summary table for the last qn.

HAix..I know how to do! But i got no time to compute the data!!! =(

Right after the test, we headed to k-box for "celebration"-having survived the week+test. We realized that Kbox has changed quite a lot...New cushions & New plasma tv. But business is still not picking up so they came up with this promo package: 8 Bucks from 2 to 7pm !!! Yeah~

Reunion Lunch With 4E3 @ NYNY

Lolx at least i can still recognize the faces of all my classmates!

It has been quite awhile since I last met up with the E3 ppl. I believe the greatest reward of attending such gatherings is to update myself with all the juicy stuffs...Yaa like who and who was together, who and who broke off, who is the fishermen etc...women love gossips!

As usual, mr choo was extremely nice cos he actually foot the bill (:

And the funniest part was that he kept encouraging Shubin to stick to me so that i can PSYCHO her -_-"

Though i missed quite a number of outings, but i'm glad i'm still able to blend in. Perhaps because quite a no. of them are in NUS : pam, pris, krystal, cindy and adelene, so there's more or less smth to talk to....

I told Cindy that i saw her in Drugs & Society....so she wasn't that DAO to ignore me on that few occasions, its just that she din see me! Lolx...We do share an affinity cos we took 2 same mods so far and she's from real estate not FASS!!! 0.0

All in all, I had a fruitful time with these people.

SI HUI'S BIRTHDAY

Yeah~ We celebrated ah hui's bdae @ Ichiban Boshi today! (which is the actual day) I'm madly in love with this Japanese restaurant ever since I tried it a few yrs ago and because of the wide range of delicacies to choose from, it took me quite a while to settle on the executive meals...

Our next stop was the Merlion park, where we sat by the river and enjoy the cooling sea breeze. Our topics hovered around the idea of having a "grad trip" and i'm thrilled by the thought of visiting Korea by the end of 2010 or 2011 (:

This is the bag that i mentioned in my previous post.
First carried it when i visited my grandma over the weekends.

Talking about my grandma,
I gave her a hug before i left her house that day.
I dunno about you guys, but I find it so hard to initiate a hug
even towards the ones that i deeply love and care for.

It took me a lot of courage to extend my arms ard her
but i'm glad that i actually did cos i saw tears brimming in her eyes, i guess she was touched...

Oil palm plantation along the road...

Finally we reached the palace of the golden horses!

We could even hear the trickling sound of the waterfall from our bedrooms (:

Let me introduce you to this gorgeous, sparkling golden horse.
If i'm not wrong, we only get to see horses with horns in fairytale!

If u realized, this photo is taken on a different day but at the same old spot.
So, you should know how much i like that horse. HA!

Looks familiar? that's right, root beer float! We spotted it while we were shopping at Sunway paradise. My only loot is a bag...As for the clothes and shoes over there, they are pretty much the same as Singapore.

Yes! Today marks the end of my finals! Woohoo!

Have committed all the pprs into God's hands,

i'm leaving for KL in a week's time! (8-11 dec)
Will be staying put at Palace of the Golden Horses.
Heard that its a 5 star hotel that overlooks the picturesque 150-acre lake!

Getting ready to meet the gals..

I wore the skirt that my mummy bought for my bdae!

After our failed attempts to locate spageddies..

we finally settled for Shimbashi Soba @ Paragon..everyone was soo hungry by then!

If not for the limited choices, we would not have chosen this restaurant. The food they serve is expensive and saltish!!! We were all wondering if we were eating at the expense of harming our lil' kidneys lolx...

But nonetheless, it was a great meal. Not because of the food, but for the great companion i have. That is the reason why they have the privilege to chope me on 5th Sep every year!! Thanks to my beloved amanda, peishan, sihui and suyee!! I really appreciate every bit of effort u gals put in...be it the present, the card and everything. BESTIES FOREVER!!!

Then i had my 2nd celebration the next day. My aunties and cousin came over to my hse after church. The kids (chessa, sumin and gabriel) prepared an item for me -- INDIAN DANCE!! omg it was hilarious...laughter was the greatest gift i had from them (:

As i walked along the sheltered pathway
and past the crowded bus-stop near srgn stn,
someone spoke in a beng-ish accent...

at that time,

i saw choon hong with an awkward smile on his face
i should have videocam-ed his malu face!!!
cos initially he planned to play a frank on me (which he did)

cos we always bumped into each other
1st time: my 1st and only visit to SMU

Started my day as early as 9am today (:

I quickly put on my pinkish nike track shoes and headed towards the stadium. Today is my first jogging session since the start of the hols..lolx but anyway it was a good start! I ran 5 rounds and walked 1 round.

The dizziness and aching legs right after the run were indications of ageing and a lack of exercise. I can't help but wonder how i manage to finish my 2.4km run during my JC days in 14plus to 15 mins' time..those were the days...

And after all the sweating and cooling down, we proceed to the kopitiam near the 147 bus-stop for lunch. I ordered shredded chicken hor fun and barley drink. Such a simple jogging-cum-lunch session with the gals is hard to come by...i enjoyed every moment of it!! It's always the people that makes the difference (:
